Update

I know I know…I thought I would update over the weekend. Well besides the concert. I was tired and my thighs were killing me for no reason. -.-

Now…what have I been up to?

Drinking vita500(vitamin c) like there’s no tomorrow. It’s getting colder by the day. Seriously and I hate being sick. *shivers* I’ve also been eating a ton of apples. No lie they are freaking delicious. If I could have them sent home to me weekly I would.

Ok, first things first. I haven’t been to the bank. No banker guy.

I haven’t been to the post office either.

No toaster oven yet either.

*sigh* I know…you guys are probably yelling, “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!”

I don’t know. haha I’m so tired. The weeks are flying by before I know it, it’s another Monday.

This month feels like 3 months in one. I’m constantly editing letters for my students. Finally got 4th graders to write a first draft. I have to get all of their addresses and translate them into English. That’s over 70 addresses…

While preparing all of this. My principal is doing a research paper on the education systems in the US and Korea.

Guess who she goes to for help?

Me.

I’ve turned into the English secretary/research assistant. So I’m constantly sending emails to the principals who visited, conducting research in my free time, and having meetings with her to talk about it. I printed up over 40 pages on the no child left behind act today to read on the bus ride to Paju for a field trip.

In between all that I’m preparing for my 2 open classes I have week after next. Took me 5 DAYS to finish make booklets by hand for two of my classes. Omg I just realized it’s 3 open classes. 2 are back to back so I just counted it as 1 without even noticing until now. -.-

To make it better I have 8 more open classes in my room because other teachers need to use the camera. That means I have to go somewhere else while they are using my class. Including me moving my first and second graders somewhere.

Today, like I mentioned earlier, I did go on a trip to Paju with the 4th graders. They are so much better outside of class. I’d keep them on a field trip if I could. My goodness. Went to the Odu Mountain Unification Observatory. Amazing. When you look across the river you see….North Korea. Yep, we meet again. I swear I always end up at the border and sometimes crossing it. My parents probably hate the thought that I keep doing it. Not my fault, it’s always with a school. Last time I was a student and actually went over the border. This time I’m a teacher and was less than 5 minutes if that away from the north. Like always it’s enjoyable to take pictures and see things. it’s a new experience and something you can’t learn in a book. You can look through telescopes and see Kim Il-sung’s Memorial Hall, the Public Cultural Hall and of course a guard post of the North Korea’s Army. Some of the kids were interviewed by a crew that was there too.

Tomorrow is a holiday. I should sleep. I’ll probably do more work again. Then it’s the weekend.

*sigh* My weekends are basically taken up with concerts. Last weekend was 2pm, this weekend Taeyang, weekend after next is g.o.d’s concert. I know I said I’d lay off, but I haven’t seen any of them yet, so why not? It’s more like a stress reliever. Though I should stop and pick up a hobby that’s cheaper.

Plus I need to rest more.

I have one weekend free this month. I made sure of that, since it’s the 4th anniversary of my boyfriend’s death. I reserve it personally and like to be left alone as much as possible.

Anyways, I think that’s it. I feel like this post has been kinda dark. Maybe my mood is a bit messy because I’m busy and tired. Anywho, until next time~!
