France~From Paris to Cannes and then to Mougins

So left Paris this morning. It was still dark when we left and got to the station that we needed to get to. Got rail passes validated and got on the train for a long train ride (5ish hours).

The ride was ok until a couple decided to sit across from us. They didn’t buy tickets for those seats so they were not supposed to be there in the first place. They were pretty rude but whatever. Apparently, there are people worst out there like the lady in London and the guy we met yesterday while coming from the museum. Too much in the last 48 hours.

Anyways, finally arrived in Cannes. I should have followed my first mind but noooo asked for directions. Have to walk up and down a lot of stairs with suitcases only to be told the wrong thing and have to do it all over again to go where I was talking about going earlier. A total mess.

Also, the bus system is odd. Like bus drivers can be in the back chilling on their phones for at least 20 minutes and it’s completely normal.

We did get on the right bus thankfully. But! Still had to walk up hills and a gazillion steps to get to where we are staying. That was not easy even with a worker carrying our suitcases up all these stairs to get to the room. In which the room/apartment has more stairs to go up. Yep.

Burned a ton of calories.

While taking in the view (as you see in some of the pics above) we saw a couple that we saw on the bus. They are staying here also and from England. They are wonderful and gave us some information. We went to the grocery store because it’s cheaper to cook than to eat out for every single meal.

After getting stuff we came back and cooked something and now relaxing. The only thing that’s frustrating now is that we can’t seem to get hot water so we have to call back in the morning to get that worked out. Bleh
