Snow~ Staring? Conversation? Ride home? Wait…what?
Ok! Today hahahahahahaha *still laughing* weird day.
First walked outside and ta-da~ snow…*sigh* not too bad though. Went to the taxi area and arrived at school in no time. Early like always. The kids are adorable playing with the snow. Went to my class first then down to the office to do my daily routine. After making my coffee I left.
Was in my room most of the time until I needed to print something out in color. Went to the teacher’s office and was like alright let’s get this done. It’s cold in the halls. *shivers* Anyways, walked in and new guy is all *stares, sticks hand up and waves* I bow, wave quickly, and sit down at..my desk? Whatever.
Finish my stuff, I swear I had to go down there like 5 times today for different things. *sigh*
Went back to my room next thing I know it’s lunch time. Went down to eat. It was pepper steak and rice! OH YEAH! GIMME! Was so happy because this girl right here was hungry. The table was filled when new guy walked in. By the time he got through the line all the seats around me were empty. I know…just my luck. I was looking out the window because it was snowing more. I’m not going to lie it’s pretty on the mountains. Who blocks my view of the cold white stuff? New guy. Sat down right in front of me. I was like well then…after awhile I finished my lunch and left.
Back to the room I go to work on more stuff. Found out my school has NOTHING left to spend for winter camp. So I can’t buy anything with the school’s money, which I never did in the first place. Haven’t asked them to buy anything. I use paper and speak like all the freaking time. But yeah, finally found out when that is exactly and it’s only 2 weeks oh yeah. I would guess so if the school has no money left for the end of the year. Bet you it was all that construction that they forked out a ton on.
Anywho, asked the 2nd grade teacher what time we would be leaving. She said 6pm. I was like O.o I can walk slowly, take pictures, order pizza, wait for it to cook, and walk up all those stairs home before 5:30. But coming to find out everyone was staying late, they might still be there now and it’s after 7pm because they have to talk about next year plans. Including textbooks and all that lovely stuff. Yeah no thank you. So, the only people that could actually leave on time were my co-teacher, me, and new guy. My co-teacher took me home 3 times. That’s it. Knew she wasn’t going to take me. I was like they might as well call a taxi. I’m not walking in the snow right now or attempting that crazy bus. Nope, didn’t feel like it and wasn’t going risk falling. I know how I am…gahh~
Right before my after school class, my co-teacher came in and told me new guy was going to take me home. I’m like ok…*coughs* O.o wait…who? what? They are allowing this? Really?
Only reason is that everyone else was going to be busy and they don’t want me to take a taxi and the bus comes at 5. Like seriously when I walk, and bus finally passes by me it’s at the stop that I would be getting off. I walked there by the time the bus comes! No point. I swear.
Anywho, I was shocked they didn’t opt for a taxi. Like I had to laugh that they were letting this happen. Not like it’s bad, but it just seems like they only allow females to take me home from work. Guys forbidden. I can understand why, this is Korea. A guy and a female together they tend to assume things like you aren’t just friends. Which is like O.o what? Homie is like a older/little brother lol. The male teachers at the school are married too. Well besides new guy. So it’s understandable.
But it seems he volunteered. Since my co-teacher was saying how she found out about the meeting thing everyone has besides us 3 and they (ladies in the office) were trying to figure out a way for me to get home. When new guy said he doesn’t live far, so he can take me. They agreed. I guess less trouble for them compared to calling a taxi. eh…*shrugs* whatever as long as I get home~
Random: I just thought about how they always tell you not to take rides from strangers while growing up. What have I been doing since I’ve been here? ok they are co-workers, but I still don’t know half their names. Therefore strangers. I know more about new guy than the rest of them sadly.
So, I did my after school class which was pretty easy. My co-teacher’s friend came to visit just because. Next thing I know it was time to go. I ended class around 5 minutes early. Didn’t want new guy waiting. Got to the office, got this weird smile from lovely lady that sits across from my desk. I love her, she’s always super nice. Anyways, yeah weird smiles from her and the ladies and new guy looked up. He was still finishing up something so I was shutting down the computer at my/his/our desk??? omg idk. Next thing I know it was time to go.
hahahahahaha I shall laugh at this day forever. The way he was all “Aisha~let’s go.” This kid *laughs some more* We go to leave bidding farewell to everyone.
We talked in the halls while walking to his truck. Students of course spotted us outside. Of course this would happen. I can skip out and rarely be seen. I can leave with other teachers and they will talk but not like today. They hung around and followed us.
Once we finally get free from them he opens my door and all. But during the entire ride we talked which I rarely do with the females that take me home. Like it was an enjoyable ride of talking and laughs. He even made a joke. Nice. Even though he was saying his English is bad. Heck it’s a lot better than most people I meet, it was refreshing.
He kept saying he needs help with English. I’m like ok I got the hint. I got you. Shall add you on fb. He’s all “Really?” I’m like yeah…so yeah now friends. He drops me off and seriously waited until I got in my building before leaving.
hahaha. Every single time I say I shall distance myself from the kid something brings us closer together. Amazing how this is not working out for me.
His birthday is Friday too….crap.
Until next time~
