Meeting up with a Korea University friend

Over the weekend I actually went out to eat with a friend that’s visiting for something important, not a random vacay. She went through quarantine and is negative for the virus. I rarely go out. Haven’t been out like this since maybe January or February. We continued social distancing while out, had on masks, got temperatures taken in places, etc. Korea is running “normally” with a lot of precautions in place.

It was nice to catch up. Talk about how things are here and in the US. It was nice to just talk about anything face to face. Like a breath of fresh air.

Also, I was surprised by the price for all you can eat pork this time. It was only like *does conversion* $14.44 for both of us. Granted the normal price would have been $18.63 which is still cheap for two people. Had unlimited side dishes, they didn’t give us a time limit, and rice included. This was in Gangnam too. So there are definitely cheap places in one of the most expensive places to be.
