Giving the books…

Ok so this week has been all over the place. Anyways, yesterday was doing work like always. Randomly a fifth grade class didn’t come, their homeroom teacher forgot. Lucky me, principal and vice principal comes up and sees we don’t have a class. Not my fault. I was ready. hmph. Anyways, introduced me to more people then left. I feel like I’m on display.

Did some more work. I love my second graders. There’s a lot of trouble makers (boys) in that class but slowly they opened up and will listen to me. Leaving the other teachers all O.o. Like there are two boys in particular that will not listen to anyone besides me and new guy. Yeah I know I know… go figure.

Like one day this week something happened and I had to separate the little ones. One is so bad but freaking adorable. He came to me pointing to his head saying it hurts. He wanted me to rub it better. He’s too cute. It kills me. Just like if his tummy hurts I have to rub it better, even though I walked him to the nurse later.

The other boy got in a fight before class so I had two injured little ones. They were talking next thing I know they want to go at each other. I’m all O.o luckily new guy (when will I use his name? hahaha) came around the corner. Of course out of all the other teachers that could come around the corner to help. Of course it’s him. Who else would it be? Sometimes I wonder….

Anyways…It’s funny hearing him so serious. It’s like O.o “Oh, excuse me dear sir. I did not mean to upset you. I beg your pardon.” But yeah got them straightened out and that’s when other teachers pop up all O.o Yep luck is on my side (I’m being so sarcastic).

WARNING: This is totally just turning into what new guy did yesterday…or didn’t do? ooo

ANYWHO~

I gave new guy the books yesterday (Thursday). I couldn’t decide which one to give first so I gave both. One as a belated birthday gift and the other an early Christmas gift. Oh yeah~ smart.

I stayed up late editing one book. Took 4 hours! Four hours of my life I will never ever get back. Ok I went to bed at like 10:30ish not that late, but still. The other book I luckily didn’t have to mess with. I left notes near the end of each book. I don’t talk much unless I’m pretty close to you or feel at ease. At work I almost never feel completely at ease so yeah…plus if I had to explain everything I’d need time to actually talk to him and I knew yesterday was going to be a busy day. So writing was better.

Then yesterday morning, I was debating if I should hand them to him, leave them on the desk, or send a message to let him know I had something for him. I was all like AH~! WHAT DO I DO?! I didn’t want it to seem weird or anything. Then I was like man…I’m at work early, he’d get there later and by then the office will be filled with people. If I be all “Oh, here *hands books*” EVERYONE is going to look. Already had that issue when he walked in behind me closely twice in one day. So I was like nope…not going that route. Then it’s like if I sent a message it might have been weird so early in the morning? Maybe…idk. So I decided to just leave it on his..my…our desk? He officially moved all his stuff there this week. Hmmm…

Anyways, then I was like I have to leave a note of some kind. Or I can send a message saying the books on the desk were for him. I decided against the message again. So sticky note it was! Then I sat there for like 10 minutes trying to figure out if I should just write his name or “ ____ these are for you~”. I decided to just write his name.

Went to the office after spending like 20 minutes on this mess. Then a teacher that’s normally early comes down the hall to the office. I’m all >.< noooooo~ Then I was like whatever I put things on that desk all the time, it’s still technically part mine. So I put it there where he had a racket anyways. I knew he’d see it and I wrote his name in Korean. Once it was done I was all PHEW~!

Went through the day normal. Classes went pretty well. Fifth grade teacher forgot to send her kids and stuff. It was lunch time. So far, I heard nothing. NOTHING from new guy. I didn’t see him either. Ok, I did when I walked pass the office because I have to go so far just to fill my tumbler thing with water. -.- And a student was walking out and I saw him looking through the books. I was all O.o well then he’s actually looking at them. But it was like…idk maybe a message or something saying “thanks for the books” or something? I shrugged it off went to lunch, ate, he wasn’t there either. Though I went super early.

Later after brushing my teeth. Yep, I join the rest of the Koreans with brushing teeth after lunch. Which is a good thing. Stuff be all stuck and stuff. Ewww…

Back to topic…

Went to walk to the office to get the after school folder that I have to fill out the time and stuff. Was on kakao with Keri and just seriously messaged her saying I didn’t bump into new guy at all yet. What did I say that for less than 30 seconds later he was coming out the computer room.

Him: *smiles* Oh hello Aisha~! (why does he sing my name basically? I have no clue.)

Me: *bows* Hi… *tries to walk away*

I know you guys are probably like WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! My answer: I DON’T KNOW! Was trying to avoid any weirdness. Did it work? Nope he stopped in the hall and continued this conversation with determination. (oh yes rhyming)

Him: Thank you for the presents! I’ll use them to *does hand movements* study English hard.

Me: Ah…no problem! Let me know if you have any problems.

Him: *nods happily* I will~!

Me: Okay *nods and makes an escape*

So yeah…he waited until he saw me to say anything. Makes sense. The other teacher was just like O.o because we were speaking in English. So, not too bad.

Yeah…have to make another post about today. This is long enough. oops?
