FINALLY AFTER FOREVER: A FT ISLAND CONCERT

First thing I do while back in Korea for less than 24 hours? Meet up with K for food and then head over to see FT Island in concert finally. Waited almost 10 years to see those boys.

Got merch. Spent 30,000 won (less than $30) so not bad for 3 things.

The waiting in line to get in was insane. The thing is I have been to multiple concerts and stood in plenty of pits. Never has it taken so long to get organized and let people in. To make it worse this was a smaller venue. It shouldn’t have been that hard. It made no sense why it took so long.

They let people in an hour before the concert yet we barely got in 15 minutes before it was supposed to start. After standing for over an hour outside in the extreme heat with horrible humidity.

We finally got in. Our section was almost empty which means more breathing room. I hate crowds so much and I normally don’t do standing anymore after almost passing out at Teen Top and Shinwha after getting way too hot from girls crowding. I hate it with a passion. Like yeah I get it they realize the foreigners that are pretty much in their faces, but that doesn’t mean you get so close to me like you are trying to merge so they can notice you too. Tsk.

Anywho, the concert started late, but it was good. Hongki sweetheart what were you wearing? It was a red shirt that basically had two fronts. The pockets were on the back. And to make it better he wore a red glove on his left hand. As he said “fashion”

Played most of their new songs and some oldies. It was great to finally see them. Yet weird because of our spots you could see them super well. Like almost too well. Why are they so pretty? ?

Also, I swore people said Hongki gained a ton of weight. From what I saw last night, I don’t see it. Not the amount they were talking about.

They ended before 8:30 shocking me. It allowed me to catch an earlier bus by an entire hour. So thank you FT Island.

I think they finished out my list of people I really wanted to see. So I feel pretty good now. Don’t have to do any concerts. Big bang would be nice but it’s difficult to get tickets. I did see Taeyang. And concerts are tiring especially when you have to travel so far to them.

So I am done. I want to spend money on traveling while I am over here and paying down my debt.
