Hyperactive first graders…Someone save me?
Do I need to say anymore?
They are the most energetic little ones. Just watching them made me exhausted.
So I met them for the first time today for their after school class. I didn’t even realize that they leave early in the day. O.o Anyways took like 30 minutes to get them under control fully. They asked a ton of questions. What’s my favorite animal and color. If I like taking long walks in the forest and what pathways I enjoy. That one had me like O.o reminded me of Tao from Exo and his “I like long walks on the beach.”
I had them do a worksheet in which they decided it was art class too. Took the rest of the class to get them to say “Hello/Hi, how are you?” “I’m ____.” and “Goodbye/bye/See you later.” But in the end they were doing everything I said to get a sticker.
After that I was dead tired to the point I was barely awake. Thank goodness I have them once a week.
My sixth graders were good. I got to talk to my first group since my co-teacher was outside doing something. We played hangman, it was so English related. Everything was in English and it was based off their previous lesson and other things they remember me saying about myself last time. One girl is so into EXO she was writing it all over her book and everything. She’s all “You know EXO?!” I’m like “uh…yeah.” and she’s all “OMG! You’re awesome!” and I’m all O.o ok…thanks!
Second group had issues saying pool and poor since their r’s and l’s sound alike ㄹis r/l so I could understand why. But I spent like 20 minutes pronouncing just those two words along with ‘birthday’.
I’m glad I had my sixth graders before the first graders. I would have had no energy left. Tomorrow, if I’m not mistaken, I’m suppose to read a book. Which book? I don’t know I need to go to the library and look for one. Lovely.
Now to cook and go to sleep.
Until next time~
