First day after the gym, fitness/weightloss goals

My legs, more like my thighs are sore, but not too sore. Which means I can step it up today, but not too much. Don’t want to kill my body in the first few days. Yep, I’m going back today after work. I’m paying for this membership, I’m going to get the most out of it.

I’m thinking about combining gym workouts with pilates and/or yoga at home. I used to do them in the past especially yoga in high school and then stopped. Got into pilates a little then once again stopped. Things happened and I never put them back into my schedule. 

There’s pilates with Cassey Ho who has a youtube channel called Blogilates. I have done a few videos here and there over the years and the burn is real. I can also do them in the comfort of my home without needing any equipment. You always start off “Oh, this is easy and the video is less than 10 minutes? No problem *one minute later* Oh my freaking goodness! Why does this burn so much? Am I that out of shape? I have how many more minutes of this? I’m going to die.” Once it’s finished you are relieved, feel the burn but also better. So, I shall slowly toss in her videos into my workout schedule. That way I can work out everything the way I want to. 

As you guys can see, I’m going to give this my all. I already lost maybe a fourth of what I needed to for sure like the first 10 months I was here in Korea. Stayed pretty steady for a little over a year because that’s a lot to drop in less than a year. Needed my body and mind to adjust to that. Gained some over the winter like always. I tend to lose it quickly when it gets warmer >.<

I still technically need to lose at least another 40~45kg (88~99 pounds). I’m basically on the road to losing like half my body weight from when I first got here August of 2013 and weighed over 300 pounds. I need to get out the 200s now, it’s been awhile since I’ve been down to this weight, but it needs to go. A year and some months has been long enough. Need to set up mini goals so I won’t be going for a large number. Though it’s going to depend on how I feel and such with how much I do lose. Might not need to lose all that and of course muscles will weigh more too. We shall see. 

Aside from all that, I slept through the night for the most part. Only woke up because my pillows got in a weird position and was trying to kill my neck. Other than that I slept until it was time for me to wake up this morning. So, working out the past few evenings (went walking before) has helped me get my sleeping back on track so far. I hope it stays this way. 

I’m also changing my diet into an healthier one all over again. Was slacking big time since this year came in and definitely felt and saw the change. Have to get it all back on track.

So um yeah, that’s what’s going on. Might see more constant updates. Not sure yet.
