Finally made it. I moved to Jeju.

In a hotel for now. The teacher I’m replacing is wrapping up and about to go home. Friday is her farewell party.

Arrived on time and my director came to pick me up. Went straight to the hospital and did my health check. So, I didn’t eat since the day before. Then picked up something light to eat while coming to the hotel. All of that in less than 2 hours of landing.

Met a super sweet old couple on the plane. They live here. The people at the hospital were very nice and didn’t try to rush you all over the place. The lady at the restaurant gave extra food. My director even paid for my health check up. I have never had that happen before. And I’ve had plenty of health check ups. Like ? so different from the vibes in Gangnam.

Here’s to at least a year of living in Jeju~? I hope it continues to go well.
