Almost time to fly again

Where am I flying to?

CHINA

Yes, you read that right. For those that don’t know, I know it might be shocking. However, once again, I am moving to China.

Why?

Well why not? I’ve always wanted to since I was younger. I always figured if I ever left Korea I would move to China for a bit. Well, I finally was ready to leave Korea and China was calling me.

I know some people have all kinds of things to say about China. None of that matters to me. I know what’s happening. Most of my undergrad was studying about China in one way or another from politics to film classes.

No where is safe. The US isn’t that safe and it’s my home country. I’m doing what I’ve always wanted to do and will try to enjoy it as much as possible.

I have come to realize over the years I LOVE history and I’ve always been into Chinese history since as far back as I can remember. I want to actually take in the culture and my surroundings. I want to EXPLORE and enjoy everything it has to offer. Including the delicious food and cafes. Obviously.

Side-note: I honestly should have been in China since February but the paperwork took forever. I’m finally applying for my visa this week. So, hopefully that gets approved and I’ll have my visa in hand soon.
