Trying to get a flight from TAS

So it seems my recruiter was freaking out more than me about booking a flight. I was going to try out The Arrival Store…even paid the $150+taxes=~$165 but I’ve been waiting only 3 business days and was told I might not be able to leave from my airport that I live around 15 minutes from. I would have to leave from ATL. Yeah, I’m not driving like 3-4 hours for either my car to be stranded for a year and broken into or have my brother try to drive it back. Too much of a headache. But it might be possible…if it didn’t cost too much.

Even talked to Scott from TAS (The Arrival Store) earlier today for awhile. He’s super nice! So I’d still recommend them. I know once I get settled I’ll order some goodies from them. Just sadly not going to be able to use the flight service.

Recruiter to the rescue

My recruiter found a ticket for a pretty cheap price. They didn’t want to wait until it was too late and then I somehow don’t make it over there. We all thought that ticket prices will go up even more soon because it’s so close to the date. I was freaking out myself about it and if I waited for TAS I might spend more later than now. I ran it by my mom to see what she thought and she agreed.

Plus! They have it where I can leave my airport! Super happy about that. I love my family and I will be able to say goodbye to them before I leave. I have NEVER been away from them for a year. The longest was last year when I went to Korea for 6 and a half weeks.

Let’s just say I love my recruiter right now. I didn’t expect them to care that much.

Note: I emailed the arrival store a few hours ago if that about finding a flight and they instantly processed my refund. I love them too! Great people. <3
