New dude has a name! OOOOOOOoooo
I know duh, right? But I finally asked it…near the end of today. Like less than an hour ago. It was bothering me, all the passing by and bowing yet I have the slightest clue as to what to call you…well besides new kid/guy. It starts with a J. I’m not sure how to spell it yet, but I can say it. Woo~
Age? I have no clue still. I did good to ask his name, ok? You see it took me until the very end of his first week. Gahh…that was difficult enough. Thought I was going to die especially since I asked in English. I have no confidence in my Korean. I almost asked in Japanese for goodness sakes. *puts head down*
Shockingly his English is seriously some of the best that I’ve heard at that school. Like it’s not heavily accented. THANK YOU! Even though my new co-teacher is pretty fluent there’s still a pretty heavy Korean accent on her English. His was pretty much clear. Which had me all O.o wahh?!
I felt proud of myself asking a stranger their name. I’m a sad person, I know. Oh well.
I mean because earlier I was kakaoing (?) a friend about a weekend next month and decided to go outside and get some fresh cold air. Of course I run across students wanting to know where I’m going. So while standing in the hall, chatting, and laughing with them. They got my number, little people…he walks by and like stands there for a moment. I’m all like dude…don’t stare….gahh…
Then flash forward a couple hours, I just finished my after school class, and my nose decides it wants to leak or something. Heading towards the bathroom he’s just in the hall chilling on his phone. Looks up, stands up straight, and bows. I’m like -.- *bows* I was about to continue walking but I stopped and had to ask his name. I would’ve been hating myself for letting the chance slip by. You can’t wait too long to ask people names then it’s weird.
So I asked and ta-da got a name.
Then later while waiting on my co-teacher to finish something. He walks into the main office to say bye and such to everyone. Then a teacher had to talk to him. So finally I’m about to leave. I’m like WOO~! WEEKEND! SLEEEEEEEEEP! I go down the stairs, I mean what’s the point of taking the elevator for one flight DOWN stairs? My co-teacher wanted to take the elevator but I was like *shows with hands* the stairs are right here. So we walked that way towards the stairs.
Then he comes out with the teacher that had to talk with him. Then I hear “Korean blah blah blah more Korean blah blah Aisha blah blah blah.” from him and and the other teacher all “Oh, Aisha teacher? more Korean.” What they were saying I shall never know. I just know it went on for awhile since it seems everyone wanted to walk slow down the hall and stairs. *sigh*
Time to learn Korean for real! I need to know what people are at least saying about me.
But yeah that was today like an hour ago, seriously.
Until next time!
