First day of winter camp~ and weight lost…
So today was first day of winter camp. Each class is 50 minutes and it went by so fast! Like wow. By noon I was done! AND they said I could go home since they aren’t serving lunch. It’s technically still break until the 3rd of February. I walked home. Screw waiting on someone. It also took me less than 40 minutes to walk. I went to the store and everything making a total of like 50 minutes. That’s the first.
I got to school before EVERYONE. Not one person was there yet and I left my place later than normal. Opened my classroom, did the normal stuff. While making coffee, new guy came in greeting pretty loud. I was like O.o good morning~ and we continued to do morning stuff.
Next thing I know my co-teacher was calling the class and said that for some reason we are holding classes in a 6th grade classroom. I was like ok, whatever. Went down to meet her and of course almost everyone is at school now and in the office.
That’s when it happened.
“Happy New Year~! OMG AISHA! You look different! Lost weight?! omg are you eating blah blah blah” All the office ladies went crazy.
Mind you, it hasn’t been 2 weeks of not seeing each other. Only 11 days. Like they were poking me and checking my face out. Feelings my arms and everything. I’m like O.o I just saw you guys less than 2 weeks ago. I didn’t change that much. Heck my upper arms are taking the longest to lose weight. Like go away so I can fit into some nice jackets~
Then again, before everyone came I decided to do my monthly weigh in on the scale at school. In less than a month I lost 9.8kg so about 21.6 pounds. I had to do it again to check and it came out the same and I’m wearing layers of clothes. I was like O.o that explains quite a bit.
So in less than 5 months I’ve lost 24.3kg around 53.51 pounds. That’s a little over 10 pounds a month. Or in this case I made up for what I didn’t lose in November. Though I’m trying to figure out how. I’m not walking more than before, in fact a bit less. I’m eating about the same, though now I even have chocolate and an occasional junk food here and there along with a limited amount of soda during the week. Heck I just ate 4…now 5 chocolate chip cookies while typing this.
Like my clothes are probably going to swallow me in a few months. And I realized that it hurts when I sleep now for the past few weeks. But especially right before Christmas to now. Like my body is not use with weighing this little, even though I’m still overweight actually still considered “obese” whatever and can lose about 100 more pounds just to be in normal weight range for my height since I’m 5’8ish which means I should weigh 126-167ish pounds.
Though to be honest I don’t know if I want to weigh so little. Even if it’s “normal” it’s just a bit weird. Granted I was skinny back in the day like beginning of middle school days. I still had ran track and stuff. By the end of middle school…I weighed a bit more than I do now. I’m smaller than I was most of my middle school days. Let’s not even talk about high school. Like come on, middle school was in the early 2000s. That’s *counts* 11 years ago or so? OMG…
It’s like a shock to the system I guess and it’s going to take awhile before it registers it doesn’t have that weight anymore. Like if I carry nothing around I ache because I’m use with having the weight. I have almost no cushion aka fat for my bones on my sides and even my back when I’m laying down so it hurts. It’s crazy, but at the same time I don’t want the weight back. It slowed me down and I’m wondering how I handled it all before. I need to strengthen up my muscles though. That’s probably why my back and stuff is hurting too.
I still have to get use with how my body is changing. I’m seeing my bones that have been hidden for awhile. Kind of weird. Also, I miss my warmth that I did have. I can’t stay warm for anything now unless I’m moving around. The more weight I lose the easier it is for me to get cold, but I still can’t wear too much and move around because then I start burning up. It’s insane and I don’t like that part.
But yeah first day of winter camp done…only 9 more to go. And I wonder how much weight I’m going to lose before August, heck even before summer comes around. hmmm…
