Trip to Seoul
So yesterday went into Seoul. I was going to meet Keri and Ingrid for Coreanos~. They serve Mexican food and I’ve been wanting to try it for over a year.
Anyways, left here before 10 to meet up with Ingrid in Itaewon. Keri had to go somewhere earlier. And I wanted to pick up some things like pickles~!
On the subway I realized I haven’t been out of Yangpyeong since I went to see Park Hyoshin, over a month ago. O.o Explains why I was feeling “I need to get out of here~!” Also my line extends way out to Munsan now instead of ending at Yongsan. Nice to know. Won’t have to make a ton of transfers if I’m going to the airport or Costco out in Ilsan.
Picked up some stuff in Itaewon. Had to get my Vietnamese pork chop on.Also, finally got my hands on some books that I can read. At first was only going to get one or two but ended up with 5. Oh well. I’ll get more later anyways. The store I’m always hoping to be open wasn’t. I swear I give up. It’s been like a year since I’ve been able to catch it open. Thing is I know they open up because they post signs about deals outside. -.- I wish they would post hours! Gahh…
Anyways, while looking for books found out Keri was done with her plans a lot earlier than we expected, so we headed out to Apgujeong to meet up. Since it was early we went to Kona to chill and charge phones.
After that I had to get makeup from MAC, so we went there. Then to some other stores before heading to Coreanos.
Coreanos~! Those tacos…I ended up eating 4 instead of the just the 2 I ordered. There was an order mix up and we ended up with 2 shrimp tacos for free. Neither Keri nor Ingrid eats seafood. So…that left me. I was full with those and somehow got my original 2 tacos down too. Nachos were good too.
Finished all that. Coreanos knows I’ll be back. Multiple times…^.^
Anywho, by this time it was decided I was just gonna spend the night. So we headed back by bus to where they live to drop stuff off. Bus number 700…I will not forget you went to the wrong side. -.- Took us longer than taking the subway, but the ride was entertaining.
Another one of their co-workers joined us at this point. She’s ok. Then we headed to Hard Rock Café where a friend of Keri’s work.
Not gonna lie I have to go back there too. We got a window table and all with a wonderful view. Music was wonderful. Live bands. Food was freaking delicious. That burger…I wanted a juicy burger like that for ages. *daydreams* Drinks were delicious. I had a watermelon cooler. Just so good…so so good. At the bar the bartenders do shows too. So that was interesting. We had a brownie and icecream dessert that finished made a great day even better.
Then this morning was Costco~! The four of us on a train before 8. I didn’t buy a ton of stuff to struggle with on the way home this time. So it was all good. A pretty lovely weekend with some great people.
Got home and straightened out around noon. In between watching random comedians on netflix I crashed.
Which makes sense my sleeping schedule has been off. I go to bed later and yet somehow waking up earlier too. -.-
Upon taking a lovely nap it snowed…a lot. I like fresh snow. I love the idea that I don’t have to go in it unless I really want to tomorrow even better.
Now it’s almost midnight (11:58pm) and I’m in between the feeling of wide awake and I might be able to sleep.
Oh well until next time~!
