I’m alive

I haven’t posted in almost 2 weeks. Last weekend was my “resting” weekend. Until Sunday when I got a message from Keri.

Keri: Yo what you doing?

Me: Nothing just chillin.

Keri: Wanna hang out?

Me: *thinks* where you talking about?

Keri: Let’s explore, maybe the tombs, get some nomz

Me: *gets on clothes* alright! I need to get out anyways. Let’s do this! I’ll be at the subway station soon!

Ok that was basically the conversation. I’m such a great person at resting. Junsu on the 7th. Shinhwa this Saturday on the 21st and Jaejoong on the 28th. Basically all my Saturdays with attractive men. XD Well besides this past Saturday. hehe

Anyways, we went to 선릉*정릉 (Seolleung*Jeongneung) tombs in Gangnam. It’s where 2 kings and a queen is buried. It was a really nice walk too with amazing weather. After that went to Coex mall to look around.

Edit from current me in 2022: It’s crazy that I ended up living around the corner  (like 15 minutes walking distance) from Coex a few years later.

SM…that’s just wrong. Building is right there. They know good and well JYJ used the mall for a lot of their events. Concerts, fanmeetings and membership week. Now SM is there. I don’t know, I don’t like it right now. It feels to me like they are saying to them “oh you want to do things here? We shall also. Know what? We’ll just buy a section to be in everyone’s face. You might be on the walls for a week or so but we’ll make our presence permanent to the point you wouldn’t want to come this way.”

I’m not saying I’m right about it. But that’s how it feels to me. They could have bought a space anywhere and have a crowd of people. They didn’t need it there.

Though, being a SM fan, I’ll end up in the building one day to check it out. Just not right now. I have to get over the initial uneasiness it gives me.

What else we did in the mall? Well we ended up buying Korean learning books and battery packs for our phones. I got a new charger and cord while I was at it in black~. I don’t like the way white cords get dirty. -.- I’d say that was a successful mall trip.  Then we bused it to go eat some yummy Mexican food. Then bused it again to go to our little cafe. Only to find out Leeteuk was coming. So it was super crowded and we hated it. We ordered our drinks and left in a rush. Not going to lie we were upset. We didn’t even drink half and tossed them (they don’t taste the same when they are rushed to be made) before heading on a bus to Olympic Park to see how the EXO craziness would be. The concert already started so of course we listened to some of the songs they were performing while walking around. Some fans that weren’t in the concert were outside cheering. It was funny and sad all at the same time.

Then we bused back to see if maybe, hopefully the crowd was gone from the cafe. It’s already been some hours. And…nope the crowd was still there. Apparently “you can order but you can’t stay inside” um no, we like that cafe for a reason. We normally go and order some coffee or something, some cake and relax. Not rush through because of some crazy fangirls. No. Just no. So we were like screw it, that defeats the purpose of going if you can’t sit in and enjoy your drink and cake.

Leeteuk, I love you. I mean we see your mom all the time. We aren’t upset you had a little fanmeeting there. We are upset at the fact that as normal customers we couldn’t go inside and do normal customer things. We don’t want a picture or an autograph. Heck we wouldn’t look in your direction. We just wanted some cake~

I know some people might be like what? If you haven’t realized we don’t really care about seeing kpop idols or anyone else famous in front of us. I mean we walk straight past them and they have to do second looks at us because we aren’t all “OMG IT’S ______! *takes picture*” and instead we are “I don’t think the ahjusshi charged us full price for dinner. I like that man.” If anything we try to avoid them. If we want to see someone we go to a concert or something. Heck even then I’m like “I’m only here to hear the music I really like live.” After awhile when they start going for too long I’m ready to leave. I’ve left some concerts while they were still talking. I don’t play.

Anyways, so we called it a day and went home.

This week has been busy at work. Parent-teacher conferences yesterday. Today the head of Yangpyeong’s Education came and the head person for the museum out here came. Everyone has been running around frantic. My classes have been changing around to accommodate all the changes. Which is a huge headache for me. But the weather is nice today, finally!

This weekend shall be wonderful though. Shinhwa with Andy back finally. Some mexican food. I’m gonna stay the night so we can eat at Hard Rock Sunday. Oh yeah~ I want that burger…or maybe fish. Oh I don’t know yet. The choices! I want that watermelon drink though. XD

Now to find out what’s going on now here in the office and to get through tomorrow. Until next time!
