So last Wednesday we had a staff trip to the DDP (Dongdaemun Design Plaza) in Seoul for “cultural training” There are a lot of things to see. Was there for like 5 hours. Had a private tour and all. The tour was to show us paintings that were saved from the Japanese during the occupation. The man who saved them were afraid that the Japanese would destroy everything related to Korean history. Which I can understand. Knowing what happened back then. No pictures taken because it was not allowed, the paintings are basically a national treasure.
It was a nice getaway in the middle of the week. After that we went to eat dinner. After dinner the principal wanted to treat us to street food. Which was awesome. I love Korean street food. We went to catch the train back home. Right before going to the train the principal treated us to milkshakes. That’s when I realized that I haven’t had a milkshake since I was in the US. It was so good. We took an actual train instead of the normal subway, that takes less than an hour to get back here. I approve highly of that train and it only costs 3,100 won (less than $3) one way.
Until next time~! Which is soon. ^^
