Recovery in a Korean hospital after surgery-Day 3
I was writting a post yesterday but fell asleep.
Anyways, been in here since Wednesday and hopefully will get out tomorrow. I need to get out tomorrow. I miss being home without people just waltzing in and out. And I am NOT spending my birthday in here.
My co-teacher, librarian, cleaning lady and the only original office lady left came Friday evening with a ton of stuff. Fruits, juices, water, other food and things I might need. Like I almost cried. That means so much to me.
I must say the nurses here are superb. They try so hard to speak English. When they can’t that’s when they teach me some things in Korean. I couldn’t ask for better nurses. All of them on each shift are pure sweethearts.
How am I? I’m good. Less pain again. Instead the thing is itchy. Which I hate with a passion because it’s an itch I can never scratch. But that just means it’s healing.
Also, I can sit. Though slightly awkward because I’m so afraid to. But I actually did it for over an hour today with hardly any discomfort. Never been so happy to sit up straight.
I still get tired easily, but it’s not too bad. I can do this. I just want to get back to regular life. Though I realized I won’t be going to Seoul for awhile. Nope not doing that for a few weeks.
I think that’s it. My arms hurt. Until next time~
